    Greetings.  I'm trying to help a friend get his el tach to work in a BMW
2002  with an MSD 6A/Pertronix ign setup.  We got the ign working fine but
can't get the tach to work - a common problem with the MSD I hear.  We're
using a tach adapter and diode as well, but to no avail so far.  Ideas from
someone who's BTDT?
