re: Rear Brake Discs - GTV6 vs Alfetta

Its a little known fact that after the rather frightening "Ring" business
was straightened out, Frodo, the Hobbit, settled down to make brake pads in
Middle Earth. These pads are known for their mystical powers when stopping
high-performance sports cars, and are therefore highly prized. Of course,
the fact that they have not been manufactured in many tens of thousands of
years makes them very rare and extremely hard to come by. Therefore, I
recommend FERODO brake pads as a substitute. They are clearly a 'knock-off'
of the prized Frodo brand, and while they lack the original's mystical
braking powers, they nonetheless work very well for a modern counterpart.
They can be found listed on page 54 of IAP's new catalog where I recommend
the Premium Metallic Pads for one's street-going Alfa Romeo rather than the
harder, high temperature, DS2000 racing pads.
