- Thread-topic: Alfetta rear brakes lock up
I'm having some trouble with the rear brakes locking up under somewhat
heavy braking. Car is currently setup with early GTV6 torsion bars &
springs at approximately the stock ride height. Shocks look like
original green Boge units. Brake pads, rotors, flexible lines & fluid
are up to snuff. I did have to disconnect the parking brake from the
calipers to mount it up front & am not sure if I have it adjusted
correctly. Would this affect the bias or cause the rears to lock up?
It's really not a good thing ripping down some twisty wet road at
midnight having the rear end lock up going into a corner. Any help
would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Zach
