I am way behind here so forgive me if this has been addressed.

When I had the GTV6 seats reupholstered (in all vinyl and boy am I glad) I 
found out that no matter what color the material starts out to be (close as 
you can match it to your preference), it is subsequently spray painted with a 
custom-mixed color specially made for the purpose.  On my example, this has 
lasted pretty well on all surfaces.
