Electro-shield rust preventative

Any experience with this product which allegedly prevents rust or corrosion 
by discharging electrons to interfere with the formation of rust? Supposedly 
maintains an ion balance throughout the vehicle to prevent corrosion. 
Comments? Is this hokum?
