RE: Milano rear end clunk



Same thing happened on my GTV6-

It turned out to be 2 bad gearbox mounts. I would vote with Joe on this one.

Sounds like a worn/broken gearbox mount or, if you're lucky, a loose
gearbox mount bolt (believe me, it happens--usually the day before a
rally and the torrential downpour on the way back from the Alfa shop
where you pay $30 to have the clunk professionally diagnosed gets
inside a wire splice by the PO and disables your car and the tow
truck takes 3 hours to get there and you spend the next morning
fixing your ignition instead of prepping your car for competition).
