Kyle,
	If it really takes 2 hours to get your engine up to the proper temp
(especially in Dallas!), then look at your thermostat as the culprit. 
Sounds like the thermostat is not closing all the way and your engine
has a continuous flow of cooling water from the radiator.  It is easy to
assay the situation when you pop the thermostat out and have a look-see.
