Oil pressure sender installation advice

Gang,

I recently received a new oil pressure sending unit (for the gauge) in the mail.  The current one is leaking badly.  Any words of advice?  What is the minimum I have to remove to get to it.  Any special goop needed?  Any advice will be appreciated.
