My Berlina gas tank inventory shows:

71 AR1557272, built 4/71, bayonet cap, small tank ~ 12.5 gallons
71 AR1557463, built 7/71, bayonet cap, small tank ~ 12.5 gallons
73 AR3001586, built 6/73, screw on cap, large tank ~ 14.5 gallons
73 AR3001896, built 8/73, screw on cap, large tank ~ 14.5 gallons
74 AR3003260, built 10/74, bayonet cap, small tank ~ 12.5 gallons

The small tanks are uniformly flat on top.  The large tanks have a sloping 
section on the right hand side opposite the filler neck that extends from 
the middle of the tank to the leading edge.
