clutch replacement update

hey folks,
since yesterday was exceptionally sunny and warm here,
i decided to start removing the T/A from the milano so
i could drill out the roll pin holding the shifter
linkage on. amazingly, i got the T/A out in 4 hours
total (would have been faster, but i was taking my
time to avoid dropping it:)

today i drilled out the roll pin. now that's it's not
holding the bracket on, i have to figure out how to
pull the bracket itself. does anyone have any tips on
this?

also, do you folks simply install a new roll pin (well
anti-siezed), or go for something like a bolt?

thanks,
