Redline Oil in '78 Spider gearbox?

Some conflicting information as to best:

Redline MTL, 75W90, or 75W90NS?

Any experiences, suggestions and/or explanations for 
both gearbox and differential oil type?

By the way, does a '78 Spider have a limited-slip 
differential?

Had great success with Redline MTL in a high-mileage 
BMW.  Cured a cold shift problem immediately and remains 
quiet and smooth.  Not sure about the Alfa's 
requirements other than what's on the service sticker 
under the hood.
