3.0 bottem end rebuild

I am having the bottom end of my Milano Verde 3.0 rebuilt. About 2 years ago
I invested in the top end with a Sperry Stage 3 and S cams. I also have new
Stebro exhaust with straight thru center, new cat, O2 sensor and BMW AFM.
Have to do the bottem end because I'm still burning oil.
I'm questioning, first of all, which way to go on the botton end. S pistons
seems like a no brainer but I'm not sure if there may be a down side to them
versus stock pistons. Any suggestions, there? Stock rings, OK? I don't want
to have to junk the Jetronic system and invest more bucks in something else.
Can the Jetronic handle the s pistons with the other upgrades I have done?
Will SZ headers do anything? Or a Kirstein box?
What else should I be replacing while its apart?

Any and all advice appreciated!
