Warning re crossdrilled rotors

Attached is a picture of a rotor and pad recently removed from my
GTV-6.

They were bought from kvrperformance ( www.kvrperformance.com ) in
Canada. Unless they have significantly changed their design, don't buy
from them, in my opinion.

As you can see, there are deep grooves in the rotor and in the
pad--Why? Because they very neatly placed the holes circumferentially
(sp?) as a result, the wear pattern rapidly made the brakes useless,
overheating, sticky parking brake etc etc etc.

Since I bought them about two years ago (probably 8000 miles ago plus 3
track sessions or so), KVR's design may have changed, but you should
check first. These cost about $175.00 and were definitely not worth it
(as always, in my opinion!)
