I would also check over the rear brakes (will have less effect, but could
still cause the problem) and also your suspension. A badly worn bush
on one side could also cause the car to pull under braking (ie, when
the front suspension is compressed).

However, one possible cause you have not mentioned is the rubber
flexi hoses. When these ago and start to break down they can cause
all sorts of odd problems
