fwd wheel drive (- no Alfa content)

please excuse the post about a non Alfa issue.

I am searching for a small front wheel drive system. I think a Geo Metro or
Dihautsu might work but still haven't come across one. The Kawaski-Honda 4x4
quads are great but very expensive (and extremely rare in the junk-yards).

Can you name a car with a miniature front wheel drive system or atleast point
me in that direction? I am trying to construct a vehicle for school and could
use all the help I can get.
