re: 69 GTV - side marker lights?

Henry Kim asks "Should a '69 GTV (115) have the side marker lights on the
front fenders?  I'm looking at one locally and it lacks the lights...  Was
it left off that year or perhaps was a European feature only?"  

A US-model '69 1750 GTV would have originally had round amber side marker
lights on the front fenders and round red ones on the rear fenders.   A
European-market version of the same car would have had them on the front
fenders only.  You could run into either version in Canada (where Henry
lives, I believe), but markers on the rear fenders only are likely to
indicate alteration of the car at some point in the past.
