Alfetta steering rack R & R

Greetings Alfisti,

I recently asked about possible sources for new track rods (tie rods) for my
Alfetta's steering rack, and I received several overseas leads which I'll
investigate if I run out of options in N.Z.... thanks folks for your
suggestions.   However, it's just crossed my mind that another option would
be to obtain a good used complete steering rack locally (plenty of those are
available round here), and swap out the whole shebang.  So, does anyone know
please how hard it is to remove and replace the steering rack form the
Alfetta GT/GTV? The Alfetta manuals I have make it look pretty simple, but
car manuals sometimes don't tell the whole story, as we know.
