Center muffler--keep or remove

Hey all,

I'm in the process of replacing my 91 164L's exhaust system from the cat
to the back of the car.  I bought a rear muffler, but what should I do
about the center muffler?  Do you really need 2 mufflers on a car or why
should I spend $100-$130 on this center section when I could just put a
straight pipe in?

Does the Stebro system include a center muffler?
