Re: classic car insurance- where to go

Dave,

I insure my street-licensed '76 Autocross Spider with Great American
Insurance, administered by Parish-Heacock. This is a vintage racing
insurance company operating out of Tennessee and Florida. Rates are based on
stated value and yearly mileage. I paid $109.62 for 2002 coverage of
$100/300,000 liability and $0 deductable collision on stated value of $6500
and 3000 miles per year. The minimum rate for Allstate coverage was around
$350.00.

Parish-Heacock: 1-800-274-1804.

Our '87 Milano, '00 VW Jetta and '95 Trek Motorhome are insured by Allstate.
