re 164 V6 v.s. T.S.

Dear,

As owner of a 98 164 Super T.s. and very familiar with a V6 24V (my ex-
eventually to be father in law drove one). I must say that the difference
in acceleration is not so big. This mainly due to the almost 150 Kg. of
weight difference. You just have to rev a T.s. a bit.

For my taste the handling of a T.s. is far superior because it is lacking a
lot of extra wheight on the fornt axle and for this reason not
understeering so strongly as a v6 or diesel does (esp. in the rain). The
last big advantage is that you do not have to change timing belts on a T.s.

Saluti,

Thom
