164 Clutch slipping

There is a common  fault that can occur on the 75 t-sparks it might be the
same on the 164. The neck of the coil gets dirty and ht sparks across
causing an apparent rev increase.
Try cleaning the neck then get someone to put car in 4th gear whilst keeping
foot on break, slowly bring clutch up till it just bites to load the
ignition cart
