SCCA Autocrossing

Greetings,

I recently proposed a Solo II classification change to the SCCA (Sports Car
Club of America) to move the Alfa Spiders and GTV's currently listed in
class C-Street-Prepared to DSP or FSP (The GTV-6 is already in classed in
DSP). This was based on the cars not being competitive against equally
prepared CSP Hondas and Miatas. The street prepared advisory committee has
recommended a change to DSP, effective 1/1/2003. This recommendation is open
for SCCA member comment during 2002 so, if you agree with the change, please
write the SCCA. There aren't too many Alfa owners competing in SCCA Solo II,
and we need to make our opinions heard.
