I had exactly the same reaction.  I also noted a number of mechanical and
cosmetic details that were not correct.  Changes from the original
specifications like deletion of the side lights, the SPICA air box and the
fan shroud might simply reflect the owner's taste.  That's fine if the
buyer's taste is similar, but I'd wonder if the visible deletions and
substitutions could be indicators that whoever did the work on the car
didn't know how it was supposed to be, and whether there might be more
surprises that are not as easy to see.  For the price, I'd want to be
certain what I was getting.
