Innocenti & C.

Innocenti started producing cars after being a great
"name" building Lambretta and also some particular
"tubes" used in building houses and palaces.

They built, of course, cars under Leyland's licence,
as Mini (Innocenti Mini, also Cooper), as the IM3 and
I4 (Ado 16 in UK? I remember a Vanden Plas Princess as
luxury model same line) and the Regent (named Allegro
if built by British Leyland). Then Innocenti built a
new "mini", Bertone styling: it had a long life, being
produced until Fiat bought Innocenti. The "mini" were
90, 120, then after De Tomaso bought Maserati &
Innocenti, there were the Mini "mille", the Mini 3 (3
cyl.), the De Tomaso (then also De TOmaso Turbo), the
Mini 650 and so on, all equipped with the 3 cyl.
Daihatsu engine (also the Turbo).

Innocenti actually is a disappeared brand: after Fiat
bought it, were sold as Innocenti the old Fiat Uno CS
(the brazilian model) named "mille clip", a cheap car
with a lot of (quit all!) Fiat Uno components. Then
was sold the "Elba", the same of Fiat Duna Weekend
(produced in Brazil and know as Fiat Premio). The Fiat
Duna was a terrible car built and sold by Fiat, surely
Arna's cousin.

Actually Innocenti dead.
