Those of you who have removed the center console of a 74 GTV to recover it's 
flanks in vinyl or to renew the shifter boot, please tell me, how do you 
defeat the rectangular pin fasteners that hold the plastic trim parts 
together? They are pressed-on and a real bugger to remove. If they're 
destroyed can they be replaced? If so, snipping at them with a wire cutter 
seems remotely plausible.
