bashing marques

I wanted to comment on Jon's wonderful post about his 911s and GTV6s. Jon,
I do believe we have the freedom to nitpick other marques on this forum.
We are a closeknit community with a hint of the emotion that goes along with
being Italian car enthusiasts. It's all done tongue in cheek, too,
although email is not the best medium to show that. (Hey, what's the
emoticon for "tongue in cheek"?) Please, before you put us down
for making fun of non-Alfas, realize that perhaps the reason we do so is
because we do own those cars, or have owned them or tracked them, or
all of the above. How does the saying go... it's okay to make fun of your
own kids? hm... maybe there isn't such a saying after all ... oh well.
