convertible top install

Has anyone installed a caribou canvas top on there alfa spider.Ihave a couple 
of questions,
1. The small t bolts that fit into a pocket on the original top and then bolt 
to the head piece, There is no such pockets on the caribou top. I was 
wondering how others dealt with this.
