       You can loosen the bolt and roll the car FORWARD in third or fourth 
gear.  DO NOT ROCK IT back and forth.  You do not want the engine to turn 
backwards when the bolt is loose!
       You should remove your valve cover about every other oil change anyway 
to get rid of the half quart of dirty oil that is up there.  That is the best 
time to tighten the chain as you can see the result of what happens when you 
loosen the bolt.
