Re:Maratona winter rims (wheels?) and tires

Ross, doubt you'll find anything cheaper than used GTV6 rims. That's what i have on my Milano for winter.
Been using Pirelli Winter 210s. these were available in 195/55/15 (original size on the car) for a while, don't know if they ar anymore. i'm sure you can get something close to the original size for the GTV6. they seem to have more wheel arch space than Milano anyway, so i'm sure you can find somehtng - even if it'a a little larger, should be fine. I wouldn't go much wider than stock if you can help it.
I live in the /boston area, these tires have been very good. Good snow performance, but also very good wet, and dry (which is what we have most of the time in the winter). they're quiet, stable under load. They also are very reasonably priced. usually get acouple of winters out of them.
