You asked if there are true GT's out there in the North American market 
(besides the Ferrari 456GT and the Porsche 911)...

I would argue that the new Aston Martin Vanquish certainly meets the bill, 
what with room for two adults, 460 hp on tap, and a Selespeed-style gearbox. 
  Not to mention that it's absolutely gorgeous.
