Digestibles,
We are swapping a 3.0 from a 164 to a Verde in Pedro "Loco"
Muqix's Milano (seen on the mastroalfa website. This guy can
kill a 3 lt. faster than a can of coke gets guzzled on a hot
day in Tejas...
Anyone have experience with the issue of the dist. drive?
Early motors were a direct fit. APE told me that the head
has to come off later ones to swap the gear. Larry Jr. is
out of town and I don't want to proceed til we're clear on
this.
The late 91 motor going in has a stud sticking up through
the drive gear. Is this the issue? Why does the head have to
come off?
Any help will be appreciated.
Best regards,
AlfaBill
