75(Milano)Driver's seat leg room

Greetings fellow Alfisti,

I am looking to improve the drivers side leg room in
my '87 Milano Gold.  I was considering reversing the
the  seat mounts/slides and remounting them backwards
(a 180 degree rotation).  Does anyone know if this
will work in allowing the seat to move further towards
the rear?

Any other thoughts or suggestions on increasing leg
room are greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
