Hi,

I know you probably know a lot more about cars than I, but the car runs a lot
better now with the new used distributor.
I suspect it was the bushings at the bottom of the distributor since the old
one wiggles a lot....
I am still curious how a timing light can be used if you have spark, but maybe
either weak
or badly timed, and intermittent you can diagnose a bad distributor without an
oscilloscope....

I did notice that number one spark plug was not getting dirty....
