All 1969 US-model 105s have the same dual booster brake system, and, while
RHD and LHD versions differ in some details, that system is plumbed the
same was as the one used on RHD 105s through the end of production.  Biba's
advice should apply to Australian '74 GTVs to the same extent that it
applies to 1969 US-model round tail spiders.
