re: Performance headers on Bosch Spiders...? Any thoughts?

I am a little behind in my reading...

A while back I had the same dilema, replace the cracked header on my '82 
spider with another stock one or go for the Centerline performance headers.  
I bought the Centerline headers and one of the $39.95 cats which were 
recommended a while back on the Digest.  The perfomance headers won't fit 
directly onto the '82 cat but I believe they do for later cars.
The results were great!  I have recently test driven several late Bosch 
spiders while helping a friend find one.  Mine is significantly faster and 
more responsive.  Not only that but it passed CA smog at a 'test only' 
facility.
