Ed, 

You may well turn out to be right but I find your logic a little hard to
follow: the report says GM is losing focus, doesn't mention FIAT cooling
off. 

For all we know, the  report is rubbish and FIAT may be burning up the
wires between Turin and Detroit over it.

If the report is correct and GM flakes, it still would not preclude FIAT
moving ahead to market in the USA by themselves.
