re: Milano: Heavy clutch & driveshaft sound
hi zamani,
the only time *i* ever had a heavy clutch in my milano was when the pivot ball had worked its way loose, and there was only a few threads left holding it in place, effectively lengthening it. and, one other time, when the pivot-ball failed completely. it was dumb luck that allowed it to get soemhow wedged, so that the car was still drivable, but the clutch was *wery* heavy... no other bearing/clutch/giubo failures have caused a heavy clutch... but, mebbe there's someting interfering w/the pedal ass'y or the master-cylinder/bore?
re: driveline, i'd definitely categorize a center bearing w/210k miles on it as *old*, same for the thro-out bearing! ;~) the center bearing, if it's bad as well as old, could contribute to the intermittent driveline oscillation. i'd guess the drive-shaft is prolly ok, if the oscillation is a recent ting, but if it's awreddy out of the car for these other repairs, it's not a ton of money to do...
