In case any UK Alfa enthuasts were considering a trip to Dublin for the
Cuore Sportivo exhibition here is a list of the exhibits;
There are a total of 19 cars on show. Also included are engines, engineering
diagrams,
video's, models (cars !) etc. A very informative tour is given given by
Cornelius Weiwveij who I understand
is one of the curators of the Museo Storico in Arese.
The usual Alfa merchandise is also available such as jackets hats etc.
The cars on show are as follows:
RL Targa Florio (1923)
GP P2 (1924)
1750 Gran Sport (1930)
Tipo B (P3) (1932)
8C 2900 B Lungo (1938) (A work of art )
8C 2900 Le Mans (1938)
1900 Berlina (1950)
6C 2500 Villa D'este (1950)
AR 159 (1951)
Wooden Frame of Giulietta Sprint (1954)
Giuletta Sprint (1954)
Duetto (1966)
33.2 Stradale (1967)
2600 Spider (1962)
Giulia GTA (1965)
Giulia TI Super (1965)
Nuvola (1996)
Giulia Super Sprint (1962)
Alfa Super Tourismo (1999) (Racing)
Current Models
Alfa GTV (1995)
Alfa 166 (1999)
Alfa 156 (1997)
Alfa 156 Sportwagon (2000)
Engines on display
Gran Prix Engine 1914
33 TT 12 (Boxer) 1975
V6 Sportronic 1998
2.0 TS Selespeed Engine 1999
Engine in Wood V10 @ 72 degrees 1987
Engine Tipo C 1936
Engine Tipo 316 1938
The Sportwagon design blends well onto the sporty 156 body but expect it to
be
critisized by the Tiff Nidells of this world for having a very small luggage
area.
All the best for now
John
