I run my 164 UK version with 195/55/15 on the standard wheel.  The ride
is slightly harder and you feel the bumps a bit more but the improvement
in handling more than makes up for this.  I am using a Yokahama
derivative and find them well  suited to the car, and of course being in
the UK we have to have all weather tyres!!!
