Hey, Wille.  You are wrong; this is "Alfa" related.  i saw this sub at
the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago.  The whole story is at:

And for the alfa content:  During the cold war, the US nuclear Navy
used to chase ALFA-class Soviet Submarines all the time.  Anyone seen
a nuclear-powered Alfa before.  I looked - there aren't any in Chicago!
