Alfisti turning into Audi-heads

Hi All,

As you may be aware, I sell Audis and own a Milano Verde. Had there been a
chance to sell Alfas ( and make a living ) I would have gone that route.

Many Alfisti seem to find their way to our doors these days. Something about
being an individualist is ingrained in our genes I guess.

What is interesting is the turnaround of clientel. We used to have a small
circle of repeat buyers who got very spoiled by subsidized interest rates and
leases ( $1500 down, 375@month for 3 years on a 42,000 Quattro Avant ). We
had to beg them to take the cars.

Now these people come back, and find that other people have found their
little secret. Hmmmmmm. Audi doesn't have to lose money to sell cars here any
more. The unfortunate thing is that most Alfa folk in the US, are used to
getting their cars cheaply. Audi is much less expensive than a BMW without
discounts. It is starting to sink in, that these marques are real competitors.

I love all Alfas and enjoy visiting with Alfisti. You are educated, well
traveled, and interesting. We are a pain as a customer, though. Kinda like
most Audi-heads. Just less dry in general ;-)

These of course, are just observations. I still just want another Alfa - any
new Alfa. Any Alfa has more cachet than most any Audi. I would pay MSRP too !
Barring that, I'll take an ex-race works S3 ( yes, one can get one if you're
connected ).
