For sale: 1986 GTV6.  White with black interior.
Low miles (70K).  2.5l V6 engine, 5speed,
sunroof.

The car is mechanically sound.  Very strong
engine, very good tranny (only the slightest hint
of synchro wear in 2nd).  Needs body work on
driver side fender, door and door sill.  Rest of
the body is pretty good, although the paint is
tired.  There's a little cosmetic rust here and
there on the body (sunroof, rear hatch lock) and
some underneath but nothing structural, I think.
(The car lived in NY/NJ for a few years but has
spent most of its life in Texas and California).

Needs new tires and ball joints.  Maybe new
shocks (Bob Wandell at Import Doctors doesn't
think so, but I do.)  The interior is black
velour.  The front seats are faded and worn.
The back seats are ok.

The car is fundamentally solid.  It could be a
very nice car if someone wanted to put some work
into it.  I'm not that person.  It could be a fun
daily driver with only a little bit of work and
money if you didn't care so much about cosmetics.

If nobody wants it, it's probalby going to Alfa Parts
Exchange to be parted out, which is an awful fate
for a GTV6 that still has a lot of life in it.
