"Fred feels I did him a disservice by not stating that I haven't dealt
with an adjustable voltage reg since the early nintys,  and I don't know
who the manufacturer was as they were on customers cars.  Both showed
similar defects ie. voltage would rise with temp.  The point I was trying
to make is a failure can and has occurred so it would be prudent to
monitor alt output through a thermal cycle after installation and
periodically there after."
