FRAP Tie-Rod end

Hello all,

I replaced the tie-rod ends on my Milano about 1 1/2
ago with FRAP parts. Last December while I was
maneuvering in a parking lot, I lost the right one.
The ball came out of the socket. Upon close
inspection, the grease in the socked turned to
charcoal/dirt/black substance.

Looked for Lemforder parts, but no one seemed to carry
them. I ended up with you know what again, but this
time I added grease fittings to them so now I can add
grease at any time I want to with out damaging the
rubber booths. I figured if I keep them greased they
should last a little longer than the previous ones.

I would recommend inspecting them (FRAPs) regularly, I
don't know what would had happened to me had I lost a
tie rod at 70 mile/hr while taking a curve. Probably I
wouldn't be writing this message now.
