hi giovanni,
i own both a werde & a 164L, & there's no question which one i prefer -
the werde, hands down. it's nimbler & quicker (lighter), & i enjoy the dynamics
of rwd much more than fwd. i also think it *kills* the 164 in appearance.
the 164 is roomier, & prolly a bit better at cruising all day at
+100mph, tho. its added size/weight, and it being a more modern (quieter)
vehicle, tip the scales in its favor for autobahn-type driving. but, that's not
the majority of my driving.
that said, i'm prolly gonna be putting my werde on the market soon.
why? i have found a great deal on a lower-mileage werde - i yust can't pass it
up!
:>) so, anyone want a good deal on a decent, relatively high-mileage
well-enjoyed werde w/lots-o-life still left in it (& *no* sunroof, gnu one ain't
got one either!), gimme a holler, & isle give ya a detailed list of all its
nits...
ciao for now,
doug s.
