Selling my Verde

Well, geesh, I don't know.

All those who live in the San Francisco Bay Area raise your hands? Come on,
put them up!
OK, all you's folks that live in the SF Bay Area and drive in the Santa Cruz
mountains keep your hands up, and the others put them down....ok, you guys
with your hands up still...do you drive Bear Creek Road much?

I drove it two times this week (to and fro each time), heading to a friends
house. All's I's gots to say is....I don't think I want to sell this
car....it was way too much fun.

I got my tail beaten off by a GTI that was burning way more oil than I, and
I liked it.

I have thought this thing over again, then again, and of course some more,
then decided to...think about it again....coming to the conclusion that I
needed to run this through my head one more time....finally

I still can't imagine selling my car (that I own...3 years it too me to pay
off that loan), and buying something else with a loan. Its true that I am
getting a lot of pressure to not only sell my car and buy something more
reliable, but also move out. My parents really would appreciate it if I
vacated my room, quickly. So I am feeling some pressure, as I have said.

Then there is the fact that I must be out of my mind....

I mean I did just graduate, and I don't have a job (ask me about my old job,
that ended in a funny story)..so's I am not thinking clearly. As Mark
Harpster put it "plug actual numbers into your
analysis"....so I did...and so did everyone else...and yup...you are all
right...its an expense either way. I might as well keep the car I like, and
sock away the money I'd be spending on another car loan. Heck...I could get
an engine rebuild after a year or so.

So I think that is what I will do. Just incase I change my mind though, I'll
keep it to mice-elf till I am putting the for sale sign up...so nobody'll
try and talk me out of it  ; )
