'93 Spider rust protection?

Quick question: is the rust protection on my '93 Spider any better than the
earlier years?

I'm wondering exactly how much damage I would do to the car by driving it in
the rain. 

Common sense would say that Alfa got better and better at rust-protecting
the cars through the years, but Alfa Romeo has NEVER been consistent with
common sense.
