Re: Heater follies

This is apparently a textbook symptom of the heater valve going south (as
opposed to thermostat). Apparently the internal seals swell up and choke
the flow of coolant to the heater core. The valve is pretty cheap (I may
have paid $30), but installation looks like a bear, and so I haven't gotten
to it. I guess I'm waiting for it to get nice and cold, so I have proper
motivation, as opposed to dealing with in the summer, when the days are
long, and it's warm enough to work on the care comfortably.
