Octopussy shoot

Thanks to all of you who replied regarding the Octopussy shoot. I faxed
the emails to the 'automotive prop' company and imagine one of you will
be getting a call soon.

The woman I've been talking to mentioned that their database was getting
a bit dated and wants to come to any car events (So. Cal.) that come up
so they can photograph cars and talk to their owners. I told her there
were 52 great Alfas, not to mention some other brands at the Italian /
French Car Meet.

Anyone have a red or white Lotus Esprit in good condition located not
too far from Van Nuys or Santa Monica?

Also one of the production companies this firm works with is looking for
a number of European cars for a 'French Riviera' scene.

Regarding liability issues on loaning / renting cars to production
companies: Yes, they're highly insured and I'm sure will try to be very
careful with your car, but I would take photographs of all 4 sides and
the interior before it leaves your sight--just in case.
