Only in LA

I just received a call from a company who is looking for a late 60's /
early 70's sporty Alfa to be used as a 'prop' for TBN (Turner
Broadcasting Network) in LA. Hate to show my lack of knowledge in this
matter, but didn't know Turner had a studio in LA.

Anyway, it pays around $200 to $250 for the day. There will be a
'handler' with it at all times.

It is needed sometime during the week of Dec. 15th, but the company
securing the cars must know immediately, as in today if possible.

My choice would be a Round-Tail Spider ('66 to '69--they won't know the
difference) in very clean, original condition. Original, meaning no
rollbars, bras, trick wheels, etc.

Since they didn't specify the model or the color, feel free to suggest
something else, if you think it would be appropriate.

The 'prop' will be used as an introduction to 'Octopussy". (Ya can tell
your grandchildren). I suggested an Aston Martin or Lotus might be more
appropriate and was told, "We already have them." Apparently the Aston
is one of the original Bond cars, and the they have (or are getting) a
red Lotus Esprit. I think we all know which car will get the majority of
attention.

If you have an appropriate car you can let go for the day, please email
me as quickly as possible and I'll put you in touch with the people
securing the cars. Please include a phone number.
